Boutique Magnolia GDT

Hello Friends!

A couple weeks a go I received a message from one of my Magnolia Sweden DT teammates, Babi, and she asked me if I would like to be a Guest DT for her Brazillian challenge blog, called
Boutique Magnolia.  Of course, I said yes.

The theme for this challenge is

You have to use an older Magnolia stamp, at least before 2013. If you just started playing with Magnolia stamps and you have not seen the older stamps, you have got to check them out. There are online stores who still carry a few oldies but you can always go to the Old Magnolia Online Shop to get them.  I have a few older stamps and I'm still eyeing on a few more that I really like.

Now on to my card.  I used Ribbon Tilda from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection of 2011. This collection was released just a month or two after I started card making.
Tilda is colored with Copics and the flowers, leaves and twigs were cut using
Magnolia DooHickey Dies.

Come and join the fun and use your older Magnolia stamps and
link up your creation for a chance to win!

Thanks again, Babi and the rest of the DT for having me as your GDT.
I wish you all the best!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Ski Star Tilda

Happy Monday everyone!

Christmas is just around the corner and latest Magnolia Collection Waiting For Christmas has the perfect images for you Christmas cards this year.  Now available at Stamp and Create.
This is Ski Star Tilda.  And I colored her using Copic Sketch Markers. For the falling snow and the snow on the ground, I used embossing paste.

Here's Tilda up close

If you're on Facebook and you are a member of the Magnolia group, you probably saw a card similar to this. Yulis, my Magnolia Design Teammate  posted  her card last week. And as soon as I saw it, I messaged her and told her that I had almost the exact same card.  I finished my card early last week, the exact same time she finished hers. So she told me to post it together with her card. Unfortunately,  I scheduled to post this card today and I didn't have an extra card or time to make another one.

Yulis and I chat online very so often but we never thought of making the same card. We have the same interests...not only in crafting but also in other things not related to cardmaking.
I also want to be neighbors with her because she has all my favorite tropical fruits in her backyard! And even though she is thousands of miles away, I'm so glad I can call Yulis as my dear friend and as the saying goes "great minds think alike...", well, for Yulis and I, "crafty minds think alike...sometimes at the same time!" :)

Anywhooo...that's the story behind my card.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Filofax Pages Oct 26- Nov 1 Hello Kitty

Hello everyone!
I know it's Halloween this coming weekend a lot of planners out there will be decorated with a Halloween theme. But not me. We don't do Halloween.
So for my pages this week, my theme is HELLO KITTY.  On Thursday, Oct 30 to Nov 2, 2014, the Hello Kitty Comic Con will be held in Los Angeles, CA. I won't be there but I thought I'd just get into the trend and make Hello Kitty the star of my pages this week.

I have used my favorite planner stamps for my pages and I will list and link them below.
The Hello Kitty sticker set is from the Target Dollar Spot and the washi tapes are from ebay.

Now for my health pages. I used different stamps for each page.  I'm trying to find another layout for this section, so I've been playing around to see what will work for me. On the right page, I have used the new stamps from StudioL2e.  All three washi tapes are from Scotch.  I have linked one of them below but you can also find them in Walmart and office supplies stores.

Thank you for stopping by today and I'll see you again next week for my next
planner pages.

Have a nice day!

Filofax Pages Oct 19-25 and New Stamps

Hello friends!
It's Filofax time again. My planner pages this week is bit different from my previous pages.  I've been so used to have my checklist on the center of the 2 page spread and I thought I should change things up a bit for this week.
As you can see, I only used 1 style of washi tape (from ebay)  for this week. I wanted to focus more on the stamps I used for my pages.  The stickers are from Walmart and the football sticker is actually a washi tape by Scotch. And you will see alot of this football sticker on my pages, up until February next year.

Early last week, Studio L2e had a contest on Instagram and the prize was a complete set  of the Plan It Series stamps.  And guess who won the contest.... ME!!!
I was a happy camper and was so excited because I love all the StudioL2e planner stamps.

The prize also included 5 new stamps (photos and links below) and all the other stamps that I didn't have. So my Plan It stamp collection is now complete! Three (3) of the new set of stamps are use on my pages above.

Most of these stamps sets are currently on Pre-Order.  They sold out with in hours of the release. But if you Pre-Order now, the stamps set will start shipping within the next 2-3 weeks.

And before I forget, this is my health pages for this week. I want to keep my health pages colorful all the time so I used 3 different washi tapes here. The patterned teal and the floral is from Michael's and the colorful vertical stripes is from Scotch. You probably have noticed the little owl stickers that I've used several times. They are from the dollar store and I love this little guys.

So, those are my pages for this week.
Thank you for stopping by and I'll catch you again next week!

Have a wonderful week a head!
