Late Post: Stamp and Create Weekly Candy

Hello there.

I am trying to catch up with my posts here so I apologize for the delay.

I have a simple card to share with you and we also have our Weekly Candy at

Stamp and Create.

First off is my card. A simple lay out with just a few snowflakes for my embellishments.

I used In the Snow Scarf Tilda from the Winter Wonderland Collection.

I used the Blissful Blizzard patterned paper from Fancy Pants.  There were only 2 kinds of patterned paper from the collection left at the Archiver's that I go to, so I got 5 sheets of each. So you might be seeing this patterned paper again in my coming cards. I just love the color combo.

Anywhoo...the image is colored with Distress Ink Reinkers, just as always.

I also used one of the snowflakes stamps from Magnolia (sorry I forgot which collection), and embossed a snowflake background for Tilda.

The snowflake dies are from Tim Holtz (On the Edge) and the individual flakes is from Quickutz.

Now for our Weekly Candy.

Challenge #22: Winter - Not a Card

Welcome back Magnolia fans!!

Make sure to scroll down for the winner of the last challenge.

The rules for our challenges are:

~ Each Challenge has a Seasonal Theme as well as a standard challenge. You must comply with both themes to enter the challenge.

~ You must use a Magnolia stamp to enter the challenges.

Winter-Not a Card
Use a Winter Themed image and create anything other than a card

What do we consider a Winter image?:

Cold, Snow, Christmas, New Year's/Celebrations. Colors are: Red, Green, Gold, white, blue, etc...

For my take on this challenge, I decorated a paper bag.

CCD November Release Preview Day 3

It's Day 3 for the CCD November Release preview. And today we have some cute animals. I choose Penguins for today's preview. They are so cute and perfect for tags and small projects!

Tomorrow at 9am EST, all November Stamps will be available at the CCD Store.

Monthly Challenge and Weekly Candy

The November Challenge is:

Feathers or Leaves

(you can either use an image with either feathers or leaves on the image,
or just add some as embellishments)

I made a bookmark using Piping Tilda from the Special Moments Collection.  She is colored with Copics and I made the bookmark simple and flat so you can actually close the book when it's inserted. For the leaves, I used a Rose Leaf and Vintage Mistletoe Magnolia DooHickey.
