Devine Tilda CAS

Hi there.
I have a quick CAS Magnolia card to share with you.  This is Devine Tilda from the waiting for Christmas Collection.  She is one of my favorite stamps because you can use her for any occasion.

I colored this image using Copic Sketch markers and tried to to a "no lines" technique.  It's been a while since I tried to do this technique.   I used Antique Linen Distress Ink pad to stamp the image. The DI is very light so bleeding or smudging isn't really my concern here.  I have seen Alice Wertz use Antique Linen on her images so I thought I'd give it a try.
Since DI's are not oil based, there are safe for Copic nibs.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Christmas Candle Tilda

Hello friends!

My card for you today  features  Christmas Candle Tilda but not as a Christmas card. I colored the image using  Copic Markers.  I kept it simple with no bulk to fit inside an A2 envelop.

Here's a close up of Tilda.

I hope you all have a wonderful day! See you again soon!

Tilda in Cozy Coat

Happy Friday everyone!
We have a new Challenge at Stamp and Create with Magnolia. And our theme for next 2 weeks is
We had a about an inch of snow a few weeks ago. But now, it has melted as the weather has warmed up a tiny bit. Our challenge this week Winter in the Snow so I used Tilda in Cozy Coat from the Waiting for Christmas Collection. As I was about to color the image, I looked at my Copic color chart to see which colors I have not used a lot. And I noticed that I have not really used the
BG 32, 18, 15, 13, 11, 10. So I decided to use those colors for Tilda's coat.  Luckily, I found a piece of card stock and patterned paper that would go perfectly with the colored image.

Here is Tilda up close.

Copics used:
Skin: E 13, 11, 00, 000, 0000
Hair: E 47, 37, 35, 33, 51
Coat: BG 32, 18, 15, 13, 11, 10, C 6, 4, 2, 1, 0
Gloves/Leggings: E 44, 43, 42, 41
Boots: BG 18, 13,  C, 6, 4, 2, 1, 0
Background: BG 10, 000, 0000

I kept the card CAS and I used some Mama Elephant Dies for this card. The sentiment is from
CC Designs.

Now, it's your time to link up your creations for a chance to win.

Boutique Magnolia GDT

Hello Friends!

A couple weeks a go I received a message from one of my Magnolia Sweden DT teammates, Babi, and she asked me if I would like to be a Guest DT for her Brazillian challenge blog, called
Boutique Magnolia.  Of course, I said yes.

The theme for this challenge is

You have to use an older Magnolia stamp, at least before 2013. If you just started playing with Magnolia stamps and you have not seen the older stamps, you have got to check them out. There are online stores who still carry a few oldies but you can always go to the Old Magnolia Online Shop to get them.  I have a few older stamps and I'm still eyeing on a few more that I really like.

Now on to my card.  I used Ribbon Tilda from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection of 2011. This collection was released just a month or two after I started card making.
Tilda is colored with Copics and the flowers, leaves and twigs were cut using
Magnolia DooHickey Dies.

Come and join the fun and use your older Magnolia stamps and
link up your creation for a chance to win!

Thanks again, Babi and the rest of the DT for having me as your GDT.
I wish you all the best!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Ski Star Tilda

Happy Monday everyone!

Christmas is just around the corner and latest Magnolia Collection Waiting For Christmas has the perfect images for you Christmas cards this year.  Now available at Stamp and Create.
This is Ski Star Tilda.  And I colored her using Copic Sketch Markers. For the falling snow and the snow on the ground, I used embossing paste.

Here's Tilda up close

If you're on Facebook and you are a member of the Magnolia group, you probably saw a card similar to this. Yulis, my Magnolia Design Teammate  posted  her card last week. And as soon as I saw it, I messaged her and told her that I had almost the exact same card.  I finished my card early last week, the exact same time she finished hers. So she told me to post it together with her card. Unfortunately,  I scheduled to post this card today and I didn't have an extra card or time to make another one.

Yulis and I chat online very so often but we never thought of making the same card. We have the same interests...not only in crafting but also in other things not related to cardmaking.
I also want to be neighbors with her because she has all my favorite tropical fruits in her backyard! And even though she is thousands of miles away, I'm so glad I can call Yulis as my dear friend and as the saying goes "great minds think alike...", well, for Yulis and I, "crafty minds think alike...sometimes at the same time!" :)

Anywhooo...that's the story behind my card.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Home Sweet Home

Hi everyone.
I have a CAS card to share with you today.
I used Home Sweet Home,  Little Summer Birds and Bride Bow DooHickey.
The image is colored using Copics and I tried to keep it simple.

A few weeks ago, I went to California for a High School Reunion Concert. I stayed with a friend of mine...a college classmate and dorm mate and I had a wonderful time at her house.
So I'm sending her this card to thank her for spoiling me and making me feel at home.

Stop by the store and shop, shop, SHOP!!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

SCMC: Seeing Stars

Hello Friends! It's time for another challenge at
Stamp and Create with Magnolia.
Our theme for the next 2 weeks is:

Seeing Stars

In celebration of the 4th of July, Independence Day, we would like to see stars on your cards/projects.  It doesn't have to be 4th of July related. Just remember to add stars on your cards/projects.

For my take on this challenge, I made a birthday card for my son who is turning 12 this month. I colored Edwin with Derby Hat using Copic Markers. And I used die cut stars to embellish the card.

Now. it's your turn! Link up your creations HERE for a chance to win:

Thank you for stopping by and  have a safe July 4th!
