Filofax Pages: January and February pages

 Hi there.

It's been a while since my last Filofax pages post. Here I have  7 weeks of decorated pages.  As soon as I decorate the pages, I do manage to snap a photo, even with just my phone so I can post it here when I get the time.  I do make plans in my Filofax on a regular basis but when it comes to posting the decorated pages, it struggle abit...but hopefully I will overcome it soon.

The photo will be my latest page and and that's where I'll be planning for the week. The stamps I used are all from Studio L2e and the pens are Pilot Juice 0.38mm, Pilot Frixion Ball Slim 0.38mm and Uni-Ball Signo 0.28mm.

By the end of this week, I'll be making a flip thru video of all these pages.

January 11-17

January 18-24

For my February pages, you'll notice I used hearts check boxes in all the pages.

Art Journal: Flowers Bloom

Hello everyone!

It's almost a year since I last made an art journal page. I even lost and couldn't fine the sketch books I used the last time. So I got another Moleskine sketch book as my art journal.  I'm really hoping to make more art journal pages but sometimes, life gets in the way of crafting.

For the last few months, I have been watching art journal videos while on the treadmill.  And my favorite has always been Vicky from Clips and Cuts.  She has been an inspiration to me and her art journal pages are gorgeous.

Here is my latest art journal page. I messed up a few areas, forgot a few things but I always hold on to my favorite quote: Embrace Imperfection (Tim Holtz) and do better on my next art journal page.

Here's the video of how I made this.  I hope you enjoy it!
Let me know what you think!
You can also watch it on YouTube HERE

Have a wonderful week end and I see you again next time!

Tim Holtz Tags of 2015: February

Hey crafty friends.
I have a Valentine's tag to share with you today. I used lots of Tim Holtz products and I'll have a link on the supplies at the bottom of the post.

I used a #8 Manila Tag and I made a collage using from the Ephemera Pack.  Before adhering the paper pieces to the tag, I inked up the edges using Walnut Stain Ink pad and a blending tool. Then I adhered the pieces using gel medium and a brush. Then I cut the edges that were sticking out and I also applied gel medium all over the tag to seal it in.

I was listening to some old songs the other day and the song that I that got stuck in my head was "Cherish" from Kool and the Gang.  So I thought I'd made it the sentiment for my tag. The words are from the Chitchat sticker collection and before I adhered the words to the tag, I stained the edges with Walnut Stain ink pad and a blending tool.

For the heart, I die cut one of the hearts from the Mini Movers and Shapers Hearts.  Then I crumpled a small piece of tissue paper then adhered it to the heart.  I cut along the edges and inked up the heart using Fired Brick Ink Pad directly.  I used the Industrious stickers for the oval frame and the corners at the bottom of the tag.

The arrow and the word stick were painted with Distress Paint in Picket Fence and adhered just above the lace.  To look more distressed and grungy, I used a brown Faber Castell PITT brush marker on the edges of the each adhered piece and blended it with my fingers.
