Video: Tim Holtz Happy Birthday Tag

Hello Crafty Friends!

I have been playing with some Tim Holtz goodies lately.  I have been having so much fun getting my hands dirty and playing with paint. I will be sharing those projects with you in the weeks to come.
One of the things I made is a Happy Birthday Tag. I used 3 different Tim Holtz Alterations Thinlits die sets by Sizzix and some new Distress Paints and Ink Pads.

You can also watch a video on how I made this tag.
I hope you enjoy and please tell me what you think.

Art Journal: Flowers Bloom

Hello everyone!

It's almost a year since I last made an art journal page. I even lost and couldn't fine the sketch books I used the last time. So I got another Moleskine sketch book as my art journal.  I'm really hoping to make more art journal pages but sometimes, life gets in the way of crafting.

For the last few months, I have been watching art journal videos while on the treadmill.  And my favorite has always been Vicky from Clips and Cuts.  She has been an inspiration to me and her art journal pages are gorgeous.

Here is my latest art journal page. I messed up a few areas, forgot a few things but I always hold on to my favorite quote: Embrace Imperfection (Tim Holtz) and do better on my next art journal page.

Here's the video of how I made this.  I hope you enjoy it!
Let me know what you think!

Have a wonderful week end and I see you again next time!

Butterfly Tag

Hi there.
Today, I'm sharing with you a tag I made using dies and inks and a few stamps. I actually recorded this in video from start to finish but it's been awhile since I made a video and the updates on the iMovie on my iMac is still a bit confusing to me. Well, I have not used it until today so I was like looking for a needle in a haystack on a blindfold! Ugh!

Here are a few pictures of the tag.

I also listed the supplies I used for this tag ( not all because I couldn't find some) and this is my entry for the Give Away by Vicky from Clips N Cuts

Here's the video and I hope you like it. I want to make a shout out to my son (Edriann) for letting me borrow his camcorder and helping me (more on teaching me) edit the video. There is NO SOUND on this video so I hope you can bear with me for just 9 minutes.  My son had homework and helping me with my video was NOT his priority. LOL
