Stop In The Name Of Love

Hello  Friends!
The card I'm sharing with you today is from the Magnolia Lovely Duo Collection called Stop In The Name of Love Tilda.  Isn't she just a cutie?  The butterfly die cut is from the DooHickey Club Kit #4 and is one of my favorites from the set.  The designer paper is also from Magnolia called Rose Path from the Sea Breeze Collection.

As always, she is colored using Distress Ink Reinkers.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the seam binding, clay hearts, the twine and the charm are all from my stash

The edges of the main panel is sewn, distressed and painted with antique white acrylic paint.

I hope you like my card and I'd like to know what you think.

Rupert

Hi
Today I have a card using Tim holtz's  Bird Crazy Stamp set.  I love the birds in this stamp set and I decided to name this one Rupert.

I colored Rupert using Distress Ink Reinkers and kept the card simple.  The sentiment is also one of Tim Holtz's stamps from Stampers Anonymous.

Hope you like my card for today.
Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again next time!

Butterfly

Hi Friends,
I'd like to share with you a card I made using Tim Holtz Watercolor Stamp set and the Handwritten Sentiments set. I love butterflies and anything that has a butterflies on it. I really had fun making this card and I hoping to make more of this cards in the future.

I stamped the butterfly using Died Marmalade ink pad and I started to blend in the colors. I added Mustard Seed and Broken China for the wings and Walnut Stain for the body and antennae.

The leaves come with the stamp set.  I used Shabby Shutters ink pad to stamp the leaves and Peeled Paint for the darker shades.  For the small flowers, I used Scattered Straw.

For the sentiment, I used Archival Ink in Coffee.

Have a wonderful day and I hope to see you again soon!

Virgo Tilda Frame

 Hello  Friends.
Yesterday, I was going through my mess and trying to cleaning my craft room. And noticed this Tilda frame I had for sometime now.  It didn't have any embellishments on it.  Just the framed image. I thought I needed to add some die cuts but still keep it simple and make Tilda the focal point of the frame.  I used the new butterfly die from the recent DooHickey Club kit and banner from an older collection.

Here's a closer look at Tilda. As always, I color my images with Distress Ink Reinkers.

I don't have a lot of photos on display around the house, but I do have some Tilda's displayed in my craft room and she is one of my favorites.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again next time.

Have a wonderful week!
