The Paper Loft will be hosting a giveaway of a $25 gift certificate to their online store to one winner on their Blog

I have 2 cards to share with you today. For my first card, I used some papers from the
Truly Scrumptious Collection and name really speaks for itself.  This collection has lovely designs in sweet shades of pinks, yellows and light green.  The paper I used to make  the flowers and the leaves and the background for this picture are also from this collection.
The image is Tilda with a Big Big Rose from the Pink Lemonade Collection by Magnolia and I colored her using Distress Ink Reinkers.

Here are a few different views of the card.

For my second card, I used the papers from the Everyday Life Collection.  I kept this card simple. The edges are stained using Distress Ink and a blending tool.  The sentiment is from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. The background for this photo is from the Island Sun Collection.

So are you having fun with our Blog hop? If so, your next hop is
 Alicia O’Bryant

Poppy Tilda was one of the special edition stamps that was only available from a store in Netherlands (or one of the European countries).  But now, it is available at

I colored Special Edition Poppy Tilda using DI's and the sentiment is from a sticker set by MME.

Keeping my post short today because I gotta run! (...like, really run on the treadmill....and I gotta burn those zucchini patties I had for lunch!)
Hope y'all are enjoying your day!

Filofax Planner Pages for Aug 24-30

Hi Friends!
As I promised last week, I'm back for another Filofax post. I decided to share my decorate planner pages every week to motivate me to use my planner. Instead of starting another blog about my Filofax post, I thought I'd just post them here too. And if you are using a planner, please share with me your tips, tricks and ideas because I am still a newbie at this.

So for this week, my theme is Cupcakes! I have 2 week-on-2-pages inserts that I use everyday. First inserts are from Piaric and the other one is from Filofax. And they're both in my

The cupcake washi tape is from Hobby Lobby. The polka dot washi tapes (pink, blue, green) are from Michaels and the cupcake stickers are from Sticko.
For both pages, I used the the Plan It Stamp set from StudioL2e. I used Memento Sea Breeze ink (Chalk Ink) for the checklist and the Memento Tuxedo Black for the Hydrate. The arrow paper clips are from Barnes & Noble and the Hello Kitty Charm is from Sanrio.
The pens I use are all from JetPens.

Thanks for stopping by.
Join me again next week for another set of decorated planner pages.
Have a wonderful week ahead!

Tilda and Filofax

Hello everyone!
I have a "purpley" project to share with you today. I used Tilda with Rose Lace Dress from the Pink Lemonade Collection and I colored her using Copic Sketch Markers. The flowers are from
Wild Orchid Crafts
I made this for someone who really inspired me a few months ago. And she loves purple.
(I'll give some details below)

Here is Tilda up close.

The Store

Stamp and Create has lots of stamps on sale.
The New Wild Orchid Christmas Stamps and Dies are in and are on sale for 10% off.  Some other lines of stamps are  up to 35% off and being discontinued. So grab them while they are still available because when they're gone, they're gone. So be sure to check out the store today.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

If you're wondering why it says "My Purpley Life"...well this is for a sweet lady name Jennifer Reyes and her blog is called My Purpley Life.  I came across here YouTube Channel a few months ago when I was looking for ideas to keep myself organized. My iMac used to be decorated with color-coded post it notes to remind me of appointments, schedules and important info. When I had to clean up and rearrange my craftroom, I lost some of my post-it notes and lost track of a few appointments (bummer!). Then I accidentally saw Jennifer's videos and I was so inspired by the way she decorated her pages. And she mentioned in one of her videos that "a decorated page motivates her to use the planner" (not the exact words).

So I have been using a Filofax Personal Origaniser  for almost 2 months now and I've been posting a few pictures on Instagram. Probably a few of you are already using a planner.  I just joined the band of "planner nerds" lately and it really does help me get organized and keep track of my everyday life.  I use it as a journal, appointment and schedule keeper, and health tracker where I keep track of my blood sugar (yup, I'm diabetic) and the food I eat everyday, blog post reminder and a wishlist keeper. I have not totally moved in the planner just yet but I'm getting there.

This is my 9th week using my Filofax and I thought I would share with you how I decorated this week's pages.

I use 2 different Week on 2 pages.  The first W2P is more of a diary/journal/reminder/things-to-do kinda page.  The second W2P (below) is for my health records, where I keep track of my blood sugar, blood pressure, daily meals and water intake.

And yes, the decorated pages motivates me to use my planner and be accountable to every that I do.

As I said, Jennifer has inspired me with her beautifully decorated pages. And I highly recommend that you watch her videos on how she decorates her pages, her reviews of planners, pens, planner inserts and alot more.

Here I have a list/picture of the things I used to decorate my pages this week.

Stamps: Studio L2E
Versa Magic Spring Pansy
Washi Tape: Michaels
Stickers: Hobby Lobby
Pens: Pilot Juice, PIlot Hi-Tec-C and Uni Style Fit

OK.  Are you still with me? Sorry for the long post. :) I will have another Filofax post by next week and I'm hoping that by sharing my planner pages with you, it'll will keep me motivated. Soon, I will share with you a video on how my planner looks like and how I use it. :)

So that is it for me today.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

SCMC For A teacher

Hello everyone!
It's time for another challenge at Stamp and Create with Magnolia!
Our theme for the next 2 weeks is:
(card or gift)
Some of the kiddos are back to school and some will be back next week. Is summer really over? (sigh...)
For my take on this week's challenge is a memory book/album.  I made this album for my son's teacher last school year. She was assigned to another school so during the last week of school, I secretly asked the kids to write a short note/letter and I adhered them to this mini album, decorated it with school themed stickers and a picture of each student.

For the front of the album, I used Editor Tilda and colored her with Copics.  Flowers and leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the rest of the embellishments are from my stash.

Here's a peak of the pages.

Now, it's your turn.  Link up your creations for a chance to win:

Stamp and Create carries a wide range of Magnolia stamps at some of the lowest prices!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
Have a wonderful weekend!
