Edwin with Sack

Hi there. I have my second card for today. I have been wanting to make a card like this but I just couldn't figure out how to make it.  It's a white on white card, an entry I made for the MDUC for this week (actually it's gonna end in a couple of hours and I hope I can still link up) :)

I used Edwin with Sack which is part of the Magnolia Stamp Club kit that arrived a couple days ago. I colored Edwin with Copics (mostly C's, W's & T's)

I used a bunch of dies to make this card.  Here is a Magnolia DooHickey: Lovely fence.
The Poinsettia's were also made using the Magnolia DooHickey. And those tree branch is from Martha Stewart paper punch.
On the side, I used Tim Holtz On th Edge Snowflakes.
The tree is from Marianne Designs Die and the snow flakes behind the trees is another DooHickey die.
The tag is also a DooHickey die.

And for my snow, I used a mixture of acrylic paint and extra fine glitter!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Just Magnolia: Pearls & Diecuts

It's Friday once again and we have another challenge at Just Magnolia.
This week our theme is

Use any die and add some pearls on your creations/card.  Today, I have a tag and I used Tilda with Daisies and Mushrooms from the Turning Leaves collection. A couple weeks ago, I used the same image but colored it with Distress Ink Reinkers.  This time I colored Tilda with my Copics. I colored this maybe 3-4 weeks ago. I was (and I still am) working on how to color hair with strands/texture... (or what ever they call it) Anyway, I was happy so far with the result but I know I still have to do major fine tuning on my coloring
The beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The colors I used for this tag was inspired by one of the flowers on the project.  It's the flowers next to the chrysanthemums. The mixture of yellow and pink made me think of pink lemonade which is my favorite.  I also used a  Rectangle Doily Die from Lifestyle Crafts and a Magnolia DooHickey Vintage Tag.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts (retired, I think)

The branch and the leaves were cut using Cheery Lynn Dies
Now, it's time to pop over to Just Magnolia to see sore inspiration from my team mates. Then, link up your creations and don't for get to link back to us for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor!

We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thank you for visiting and have a safe weekend!

Hiya! I hope everybody is doing well.  I managed to finish a paper bag decorated with  Tilda and butterflies.  This is Tilda with Uggs which is part of Australian Special that was released recently.

Now back to  my paper bag.  I colored Tilda with Copics. and the beautiful flowers are from

Here's a closer look at Tilda!

Sewing Box

Hi friends! I'm sorry I've been MIA for a while.
Today, I want to share with you a sewing box I made to store my Gutermann threads which I use for my sewing machine and for hand stitching.

I used Tailor Tilda and colored her with Copics. The Beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the lace and seam binding are from my stash. I got this paper mache box from Joann's Crafts.  I wrapped the box with Magnolia DP and edged the lid with lace.
I used an Oval Nestabilities and distressed it, used some cheese clothe painted with antique white acrylic paint. Some tiny wooden spools with ribbon and twine were added to finish it off.

Tiilda's Town: Choose Your Passion (CAS or F&F)

Another Friday has come and we have a new challenge at Tilda's Town.
This week our theme is:
And for my card, I have a CAS (clean & simple) card. This is my first (I think...) CAS card and I actually had to restrain myself from adding flowers, pearls, bling and more flowers.
This is Tilda with Corn from the Turning Leaves Collection and I colored her with Copics.  The DP is also from Magnolia, from the same collection.
I stamped the image with Memento London Fog that's why the outline is a bit lighter and I had to darken her eyes with a Copic Multiliner.

Ok, now pop over to Tilda's Town for more inspiration from my teammates. Then, link up your creation/card and link it back to us for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate from Tilda's Town.

Have a great weekend!

Tilda's Town: Autumn Scene

We have new challenge theme at Tilda's Town today. This week, our theme is:

Fall/Autumn is my favorite time of the year. The leaves turn into an array of gorgeous colors and the heat of summer dies down. My card today features Tilda with broom from the Turning Leaves Collection.

For the last 2 weeks, I have been playing with Copics and set aside my DIs for a while because of an accident...well, I spilled water on my table and I messed up some papers. Ugh!  LOL

Anywhooo, you might have noticed Tilda's hair. This is my first time to color hair this way.  And I know I need alot more practice to get it right.  But for now, I'm good with this one. :)

For more inspiration for your Autumn Scene, pop over Tilda's Town to see my teammates creations.
Link up your cards and link back to us for a chance to win $15 gift certificate at Tilda's Town.

ATS Thankful for Fall

Today we have another set of stamps which is part of the September release.  And this set is called

"Thankful for Fall"

It comes with 3 images and some sentiments.

My card today is inspired by a painting I saw when I was a little girl. I still remember is it vividly, framed vintage style and the image is similar to what you see here. So I tried to incorporate it in my card today.

I did alot of distressing here and I stained the edges of the paper. The DP already had that vintage design so that made it go well with the distressed edges.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves are from Michael's (I think...)
I colored the image with Copics (sorry I didn't make a list) which I have been using a lot lately.

Visit the ATS blog to see what my teammates have made for you today.
