Turning Leaves

Hello everybody! I hope y'all are enjoying the summer or whatever is left of it!
I'd like to share some photos of the new Magnolia Ink Magazine Turning Leaves.  I got this in the mail two days ago, and I've been doing my happy dance since then. My cheeks are hurting from having this smile (crazy grin LOL) on my face.

This is the first time for me to have my projects published as part of the design team! (I had 1 project published when I won one of the Magnolia Ink contests.) I'm so excited about this issue and it makes me really proud to be part of the team. I still consider myself as a newbie...not only with Magnolia, but also with crafting, stamping, card making, and coloring as a whole.  It was September last year when I tried  stamping and everything just went on from there. And I'm really really thankful!

Back to the magazine...
The card on the cover is made by Debbie Dolphins.
On pages  30-31, you will find my Autumn Fun banner.
My Autumn Wind Shaker card  is on page 40.

Thank you so much for following me and for visiting my blog, for your lovely comments  and words of encouragements.  You have been an inspiration to me from the day I started blogging.
And again, from the bottom of my heart

THANK YOU!

Tilda's Family 2

This is my 2nd Tilda's Family card. The first one I made can be found HERE. I used the same images but masked it on the opposite side. I colored this image over a month ago and I almost forget about it.  Good thing I had some new papers that matched the image.

This card is on it's way to California...to a good friend of mine
who just gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

In the inside of the card is a tag and at the back of the tag is where I wrote my message.

One more look...

Thanks for dropping by!

Hugs,
Mae

Tilda's Town: Shabby Chic

It is Friday and once again, we have a new challenge at Tilda's Town.
For this week, our theme is
Shabby Chic.
For my card today, I used Dancing Tilda with Stars from the new Little Christmas Collection. I inked her up with Distress Ink Reinkers.  The DP is from Pion Designs and believe me...it took a long time to get the paper thru the trimmer. I didn't want to cut it! LOL . The DP was distressed and stitched and painted with Auntique White acrylic paint. All the lovely flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

ATS August Review

It's another Review Day  for the August Release Stamps at All That Scraps. My card today features
Pumpkin Beatrice colored with Copic Sketch Markers and the Pumpkin Cutter Dies.

Coloring Beatrice's (and Bauregard's) hair has always been a challenge to me. But I like their hair cute and curly so I just scribbled some hair strands using a black Copic Multiliner.

For more of today's reviews, visit ATS Blog and check out what my team mates created!
