Pisces Tilda

Happy Monday friends!
I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I'm finally done cleaning up (I think...), well...the major stuff are out of the way so I can pretty much enjoy my craft desk without see things that are not supposed to be there. Now everything is back to my regular crafting mess.

My card for today features Pisces Tilda from the Zodiac Collection. I colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers.  After a few weeks of making CAS cards, I kinda missed the layered, flower-filled cards. As you can see I added some texture by using  Crackle Accents on the Flourish and the Happy Birthday banner. Some corrugated board, cheese clothe, jute ribbon...and the patterned paper which is from Magnolia is distressed on the edges and painted with antique white acrylic paint.

Here's a closer look at Tilda.

Here are the 4 corners of the card. Just click on the image to enlarge.

And this is the inside of the card.

Last look... so you don't have to scroll back up.

Challenges I want to join:
A Creative Romance: Scrappy Card
Magnolia-licious: Anything Goes
Simply Magnolia: Gorgeous Blooms
Marvelous Magnolia: Anything Goes
Midweek Magnolias: Frame It

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
Have a wonderful day!

CCD May Release Preview Day 1

Are you ready to see what CC Designs have in store for you for the month of May? Well, today is the first day for the May Stamps Release. We are previewing Christine's stamps and I have a few cards to share with you.

Meet Flower Pots Lucy. The back panel of the card is not a patterned paper but it's stamp set called Garden Doodads. The fence is an older release die. (Four Seasons Fence Die)

Next I have 2 mini cards that are super quick and easy to make. I used the Wrapper Fun Stamp set to make the banners and cut them using the Banner Day Dies and the Banner Tags Dies.  I also used the Christmas Accessories Die for the star and the Guys Die for the mustash.
Both sentiments are from the Happy Day stamp set.

For more Previews, visit the CC Designs Blog.
Stamps will be release in May 1, 2014 at 12 noon EST.

SCMC Take Two

It's time for another Challenge at Stamp and Create with Magnolia!
Our theme for the next 2 weeks is:

Take Two (2 images)

It can be an image with two people (like with the new Gemini stamp or combo stamps from Animals of the Year), two separate Magnolia stamps (like Tilda with an animal or another Tilda/Edwin),
or Tilda/Edwin/Animal with a background.

*Magnolia Sentiments do not qualify*

Prize:

For my card, I used Aquarius Tilda and the Kurbitz Corner. I colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers. And it's CAS! Well, I had to make it CAS because I still can't find all my other crafting stuff.  I've been cleaning, organizing and moving things around the house.  My craftroom also needed a fresh coat of paint after a leak in the ceiling that left a nasty stain.  So I had to move out everything from my craft room and dump it in the guest room. I had to move my computer to my craftroom (it used to be in the dinning room) so I added another table... switched some bookshelves... got rid of tons of trash... and I'm still not done. And I also need more space!
I can't wait to finally sit down and just color.

Our theme for this challenge is to use 2 images. Instead of using another Tilda/Edwin stamp, I used the cute Kurbitz Corner stamp (Princes and Princesses Collection) as an accent stamp.

Now, it's your turn. Link up your creations HERE for a chance to win!

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you here again soon!

Spring Colors at SCMC

It's time for another Challenge at Stamp and Create with Magnolia.
Our theme for the next 2 weeks is:

For some of us who have snowy cold winters, Spring colors would be anything but white or the color of snow! LOL! I get excited to see grass under melted snow, even if it's not green yet. And when it starts to turn green, I get that happy Springy feeling!

My card today features Meadow Daisy from the Summer Memories Collection. I colored the image using Copic Sketch Markers. I kept is simple to have the daisy as the focal point.

The inside of the card has one of my favorite sentiments and I really don't know the name of this stamp set. I bought the stamp set for only $1.99 from discount store.

Come and join us for chance to win a Magnolia Stamp of your choice! You can also see what my teammates have created for your inspiration when you visit the SCMC Blog.

CC Designs Special Release

Today we have a Special Nurse Release at CC Designs.
There are 3 Nurse Stamps, a sentiment set and an accessory stamp set in this Special Release.
This is Nurse Nancy.  Isn't she a cutie? I love her uniform and bag.
(It's been ages since the last time I wore a typical nurse' uniform...white, white a cap, white stockings, white shoes. )
The sentiment is from the For the Nurses Stamp set and this one is my fave. I'm sure a lot of us nurses will agree!
I have colored the image with Copics.

Drop by the CC Designs Blog to see the rest of stamps and what my teams have created for you!
