Art Journal: Magnolia Window

Hi  Friends!

I have an Art Journal Page I'd like to share with you.  I used the DooHickey Club Kit Le Jardin dies (Vol.#4) for this art journal.  There is a video on how I made this below.
I hope you like it!

(OK, so the lighting in the video changes very ofter. I filmed this video close to the window to have natural lighting.  Unfortunately, the weather here in Chicago changes every 5 minutes....from sunny to gloomy and sunny again... so you can see the difference in the video.  But I still do hope that you like it.)

You can watch the video below or you can watch it on YouTube HERE!
Enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by and watching the video! I hope to see you again soon!

Sizzix Butterfly

Hi Friends,

I've been playing with some Tim Holtz dies lately and this is what I came up with. I love the new Butterfly Duo with Texture Fades. If you are wondering what those tiny wings are in the center, well...it's one of the butterflies from the set. I messed up...(actually tore the wing apart) and I had to cover it up. So I decided to add a center "winglet" to do the job.

For the background, I used one of the Mixed Media Thinlits.  I distressed the edges of the background panel and stained it with Walnut Stain and a blending tool.

I also used some of Tim Holtz older stamps to give a grundgy look to the card.

Some Ideaology Wordbands and Pen Nibs for the embellishments and a piece of jute,  seam binding and twine to finish the card.

I hope you have a wonderful week and I hope to see you again soon!

Stop In The Name Of Love

Hello  Friends!
The card I'm sharing with you today is from the Magnolia Lovely Duo Collection called Stop In The Name of Love Tilda.  Isn't she just a cutie?  The butterfly die cut is from the DooHickey Club Kit #4 and is one of my favorites from the set.  The designer paper is also from Magnolia called Rose Path from the Sea Breeze Collection.

As always, she is colored using Distress Ink Reinkers.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the seam binding, clay hearts, the twine and the charm are all from my stash

The edges of the main panel is sewn, distressed and painted with antique white acrylic paint.

I hope you like my card and I'd like to know what you think.

Rupert

Hi
Today I have a card using Tim holtz's  Bird Crazy Stamp set.  I love the birds in this stamp set and I decided to name this one Rupert.

I colored Rupert using Distress Ink Reinkers and kept the card simple.  The sentiment is also one of Tim Holtz's stamps from Stampers Anonymous.

Hope you like my card for today.
Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again next time!
