Fight like a Girl

Hi! I hope everybody is doing great and feeling crafty!
Today I'm going to share a card with Magnolia Stamp Boxing Tilda.  I love this stamp because it shows that we, women are tough and sometimes tougher than we think. And when it comes to Breast Cancer,  we all have to fight for a cure and "fight like a girl".

Flower Card

Here's another card I made today.  This is my second one after my surgery. I think, the pain medications I took worked for me but for the most part, what really helped me forget about the pain and the discomfort....is the time I spend coloring and inking up stamped images! It is just so relaxing. And I'm sure there will be a number of you who will agree with me on that!

I have been coloring Tilda's for a while but I haven't colored her with black hair.  So this is my first time to color her hair black. And this time, I used Copic Sketch Markers to ink her up!

Welcome Spring

Today is my 3rd post-operative day (3 days after my surgery) and even though I am swollen beyond recognition, I'm doing fine...I guess. I'm way past my strong pain killers and just taking some Motrin which is good because it doesn't make me sleepy.

This is my card for you today.  Tilda is from one of the Christmas collection from Magnolia.  I'm just not quite sure which.  In the image she has holly leaves and berries for her pigtails that's why I have to cover them with some green/white twine.  I used Distress Ink Reinkers to color the image.

Same but Different

Just like of the articles of my favorite Magnolia Ink Magazine, I'd like to share something that is the same yet different.  I'm using the Little Princess from the latest collection from Magnolia.  And I colored them using 4 different mediums.  Copic Sketch Markers, Prismacolor Pencils (and gamsol) Distress Ink Reinkers and Albrecht Durer WaterColor Pencils.

Prismacolor Nupastel Sticks: I used this for cheeks for all 4 images.

So there it is----4 different mediums to color stamped images. I couldn't get to achieve the exact color shade to match  all for.  The colors I used are the ones that I have on hand. I know each color have their exact match...and some day I might run across them. Anyway, I hope you find this helpful. I would REALLY appreciate it if you give me your thoughts on it!

Thanks you for so much for stopping by and y'all have a great day!

Bunny Tildas

Happy Wednesday friends.  Before I go to for my procedure today, I'd like to share an Easter inspired project. I don't have any Easter stamps (yet) but I'll probably get a hold of some before next year.
These are my Tildas that I have not used in any project yet. And because I didn't have any Easter/bunny stamp, I just made some bunny hats for my Tildas to go with the project (white flocking and pink glitter pen). The goodies inside the pouch is Easter-colored hard candy.
And of course, this goodie bag is egg-shaped.

Butterfly Tilda

Happy Sunday everybody! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend (or whatever's left of it...lol)
Butterflies, butterflies! I just love butterflies.  Even the butterflies in my stomach...LOL

Today the card I'm sharing with you is one of my faves. I colored the image with DI reinkers. The sentiment is close to my heart!

The flowers I used are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and I just LOVE 'EM!
My hubby brings me flowers every week. And when he comes home from work and hands the flowers to me, it makes me happy. But when I receive my order from WOC... I get butterflies in my stomach and I get so excited as I go thru all the flowers!

Mom to be

Hi Stamping friends!
The card I'm going to share to you is for a good friend of mine in college. I just learned that she is have her second baby soon. When I got Tilda Mother to be stamp from the new collection, she was the person I thought of.  Last night I started coloring her in and I thought that my coloring was OK.  I was a bit distracted because my boys (hubby & son) were watching a game on TV and they were cheering like they were inside the stadium!  So, this morning when I took another look at the image I colored, I didn't like it and I jokingly blamed them for it! LOL
