The Day Before Christmas Tilda

Winter Wonderland Collection now Shipping at

The latest collection from Magnolia is now in stock and Lacey has been shipping orders since yesterday.

My card today features a stamp that is part of the Winter Wonderland Collection. It's called

I actually made 2 card using the same image, colored it almost exactly the same and I also used the same patterned paper collection and used the same DooHickey Dies for my embellishments. SO let's just call this... "Same but Different".

Here's the first card,

*~*~*~*~*~*

*~*~*~*~*~*

And here is the second card.  This time I made it a square card

Just as mentioned, I colored the images almost exactly the same. Have you noticed the difference? Yup, it's the hair. Everything else is the same. I actually card #2 first. But then I thought the hair was too "busy" and it took me forever to lay the ink down and let it dry so I thought I need to change my coloring style and be more efficient and cut my coloring time in half. So I colored another one
(card #1) with chunkier hair. It still took a while to finish coloring the image but not as much as. But honestly, I like them both. How about you?

Anywhooo... that's it for me today. Don't forget to stop by Stamp and Create to get your Winter Wonderland goodies and all your other stamping needs!

Thanks for stopping by and I'd like to hear about what you think of cards today.
Your lovely comments ALWAYS make me smile! :)
Have a wonderful day everyone!

SCMC: Challenge #21 Fall Halloween Colors

It's Challenge #21 at

Our theme for the next 2 weeks is:
Fall Themed Magnolia plus: Orange, Purple, and Black

What do we consider a Fall image?:
Back to School, Leaves, cooler weather, windy, brooms, Halloween, "Thanksgiving"(American and Canadian holiday but is often a time of giving thanks), Birthdays. Colors are usually darker: Orange, Brown, Purple, Red, etc...
Prize:

Stamp and Create
carries a wide range of Magnolia stamps at some of the lowest prices!

For my take on this challenge, I made a CAS Halloween/Fall Card. I am not really into Halloween so I don't have papers/embellishments that are Halloween themed. But I was able to get some not-so-halloweeny/scary paper and had some purple and black cardstock and some purple and black ribbon so all I needed to do was color the Witch Tilda & Pumpkin Stamp from Magnolia  with purple, black and orange. And oh yeah...I had an orange button to top it off!

Now it's your turn! Link up your creations for a chance to win!

Stamp and Create: Weekly Candy and Magnolia Tilda

A New Weekly Candy is up for grabs at  Stamp and Create!
This week's candy is:

**In order to enter the candy, you must post the Stamp and Create's Store Logo in the side bar of your blog and link it to www.stampandcreate.com...
The candy ends Sunday, October 27 at 7pm EST
You can still enter the candy if you do not have a blog.

Now for my card, I used Magnolia Tilda from the Little London Collection and  some a Heart Swirl DooHickey also from Magnolia.

Here's a closer look.  I colored this image a while back...when this Tilda came as a special stamp. But I never got a chance to share this card.  This was one of my first attempts of coloring with no-lines.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Here are the other views of the card, and the inside of the card.

Distress Inks
