Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving!

America is celebrating one of the biggest holidays of the year today. But because I was not born and raised here in the US, we really don't celebrate it like others do. At the same time, when we arrived here in the US,  my husband and I always worked on holidays. If I work on Thanksgiving, he works on Christmas. And if I work on New Years Eve, he works on Thanksgiving the next year.  We are both Registered Nurses and that's part of a nurse's life...I guess.

But this year, it's gonna be different. We were invited by some friends to have Thanksgiving dinner with them. And I made this card to give the hostess.

I guess I can call this a CAS card. And believe me, this took me way longer to finish than my fully embellished cards! For some reason I just don't know how to make a CAS card look nice! This is the best I can do.

Stamps used are from the Nativity Collection and I colored the image with Distress Ink Reinkers. And I used Perfect Layering Rulers to layer the papers.

Thanksgiving may be celebrated once a year, but giving thanks doesn't have to. And at this note, I would like to thank all of you who take time to visit my blog and leave me lovely comments.  I really, really appreciate it! You are my inspiration.

I hope you like my card for today. And thank you for stopping by!

Hugs,
Mae

  10. I have the same struggles with CAS :o) I take way longer to make my CAS cards than the ones in which I pile on the layers, etc. But... I like the look of CAS cards so I just keep practicing and honing my skills. I think you did a really beautiful job on this card. Thanks for sharing it with us this week at Addicted to Stamps and More!
