Late Post: Stamp and Create Weekly Candy

Hello there.

I am trying to catch up with my posts here so I apologize for the delay.

I have a simple card to share with you and we also have our Weekly Candy at

Stamp and Create.

First off is my card. A simple lay out with just a few snowflakes for my embellishments.

I used In the Snow Scarf Tilda from the Winter Wonderland Collection.

I used the Blissful Blizzard patterned paper from Fancy Pants.  There were only 2 kinds of patterned paper from the collection left at the Archiver's that I go to, so I got 5 sheets of each. So you might be seeing this patterned paper again in my coming cards. I just love the color combo.

Anywhoo...the image is colored with Distress Ink Reinkers, just as always.

I also used one of the snowflakes stamps from Magnolia (sorry I forgot which collection), and embossed a snowflake background for Tilda.

The snowflake dies are from Tim Holtz (On the Edge) and the individual flakes is from Quickutz.

Now for our Weekly Candy.

Now for my card, I used Magnolia Tilda from the Little London Collection and  some a Heart Swirl DooHickey also from Magnolia.

 

Here's a closer look.  I colored this image a while back...when this Tilda came as a special stamp. But I never got a chance to share this card.  This was one of my first attempts of coloring with no-lines.
