Stamp and Create: Write a Message Tilda

Happy Monday everybody!
I hope y'all are ready to face the week head.  It has been chilly and cold here in Chicago over the past few days but we are hoping to warm up by the end of the week. This polar vertex is really making it's mark here.  Brrrrr.....

I have a tag today for the Stamp and Create blog. I used Write a Message Tilda
from the Lost and Found Collection.  And guess what...I used Copics to color Tilda! It has been a while since I used Copics for Tilda and I felt so rusty and disoriented.  I attempted to dip a Copic marker in a cup of water after laying some color. Ha! Good thing the cup was empty!

Here's a closer look at Tilda.

The beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I am hoping to color more Tilda's using Copics again.  This was one of my New Years resolution and I hope I can really get comfortable with Copics as I am with Distress Ink Reinkers.

Anywhoo...thanks for stopping by. I really do appreciate every time to pop over, and especially when you let me know you were here.

Have a wonderful day and see you again soon!

Little Moscow

Привет
That's "hi" in Russian! I think it's pronounced "privet" or something like that!

I want to share with you a card I made using Matryoshka Tilda and masked with the Mocsow Cathdral, both from the Little Moscow Collection. Isn't she adorable?
Just behind my card is my own Matryoshka or Russian Nesting doll. I had this Matryoshka for almost 20 years now.

As usual, I colored the image using DI's and I made a mistake when I colored the red tower. I didn't have enough patience to let it dry so I messed up the colors and red was my last resort...to coverup the ugly mess.

Here's another  look at the Russian Nesting Dolls.  This one actually has 20 (yes, 20!!) dolls nested inside but I just took out 3.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.
I started this year quite busy but I promise to catch up with my blogging.
Thanks for all your support and for hanging in there with me!
Hugs,

CCDesigns January Review

Hi there!
Today we are doing a review of the CC Designs January Stamps.
For my first review, I made a card with a matching envelope. I used the Swiss Pixie Mailbox and stamped it on an envelope, colored it with Copics.
For the card, I used the Hearts and Arrow Cutter Dies, die cut a handful of them and adhered it using a foam adhesive.  Sentiments for both the envelop and the card is the from the Adoring You Stamp set.

For my second review, I made 2 mini card tags using the Meoples VDHD and colored it with Copics.  The sentiments are included in the stamp set.

Lots of New Stamps

Hi everybody!
I miss you all! It's been a very busy last few weeks for me. And I actually started the year, swamped with paper work and other projects that I will soon share with you.
Anywhooo...I'm looking forward to another year of creating and crafting.

To start off, we have a new DT at Stamp and Create.
Please welcome Tina!

At the same time, Lacey has lots of New Stamps coming this week and in the coming weeks so visit the Stamp and Create Blog and also the store for more information.

Today, I'd like to share a door hanger I made for a friend's daughter.  I think I shared this over at FB but I have not shared it here.

I used Tilda with Ballet Shoes from the Prince & Princess Collection. I colored the image with Copics. The DP is from Magnolia and the flowers are from WOC.

For more inspiration for the week,
visit the Stamp and Create Blog to see what my team mates made for you.

Thanks for stopping by!
See you again soon

CCD Make it Monday: Hearts Stencil

Hi everyone! Today is our first CC Designs Make It Monday for the year.
I'd like to show you how I made a stencil using one of the new CC Designs Hearts and Arrow Die Cutters.

I cut piece of card stock to 4 x 4 inches in size and I drew a line for every half inch to make a grid. Then I used a red pen to mark the intersections where I want the hearts to be. Using the third hole on the back of the die, I lined it up with the red marks and run it through the die cutting machine.

Finally, I used Distress Ink pads and a mini dauber to make a background of hearts on my card.

Thanks for joining me today and come back again next week for another Make It Monday by one of my teammates from CC Designs.
