Edwin with Sack

Hi there. I have my second card for today. I have been wanting to make a card like this but I just couldn't figure out how to make it.  It's a white on white card, an entry I made for the MDUC for this week (actually it's gonna end in a couple of hours and I hope I can still link up) :)

I used Edwin with Sack which is part of the Magnolia Stamp Club kit that arrived a couple days ago. I colored Edwin with Copics (mostly C's, W's & T's)

I used a bunch of dies to make this card.  Here is a Magnolia DooHickey: Lovely fence.
The Poinsettia's were also made using the Magnolia DooHickey. And those tree branch is from Martha Stewart paper punch.
On the side, I used Tim Holtz On th Edge Snowflakes.
The tree is from Marianne Designs Die and the snow flakes behind the trees is another DooHickey die.
The tag is also a DooHickey die.

And for my snow, I used a mixture of acrylic paint and extra fine glitter!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Doctor Edwin - Time Heals

Happy Monday everyone!  My card today features Doctor Edwin.
When this stamp was released I just knew I had to get it.
I colored him with Distress Ink Reinkers on Arches Hot Press watercolor paper.
The sentiments I used are from Tim Holtz.  The letters in the word "heals" are from different words from the Addage Ticket and the "Time" is from Idea-ology Metal word tags.
The DP is from Basic Grey and all the other embellishments are from my stash.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Yup! Time heals! In my case, 3 months of healing went fast! I mentioned before, that I went thru some oral surgery and 3-4 months was my time frame for healing before proceeding to the next phase. Well, it's time for me to move on to the next phase and my surgery is on Wednesday, June 20! I hope everything will go smoothly! Wish me luck!

A closer look at Doctor Edwin.

Lazy Days of Summer at Tilda's Town

 Happy Friday  to all!
Today at Tilda's Town Challenges we have a new challenge for you.  The theme for this week is

Lazy Days of Summer
Summer is here! And Edwin is here to wish you the best this summer.
For my card today, I have Edwin in Miami from the Summer Memories Collection. I also used the beach background from Lazy Summer, a sand castle and seashell to create this summer scene.
I colored the image over a month ago with Distress Ink Reinkers. The DP is from Queen & Co and I really like the colors: bright green, blues, orange and yellow. I have used the other coordinating DP with my other summer themed projects because I kinda liked their summer color combo.

Just Magnolia - Edwin with Stolen heart

Ok. I have some exciting news to share!  A couple days ago, I received an email from Bev  from Just Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar Challenge Blog and she offered me a spot as one of the DTs! Wow, it was such a surprise to me. Most of the DTs of Just Magnolia are those who I really look up to and admire for their talent and beautiful creations.
Now, I am so honored to be part of this group of talented ladies.

So my card today is my first DT card for Just Magnolia and our challenge for this week is
 Buttons & Bows.
Come and join us in our challenge!
~*~*~*~*~*~
Edwin with Stolen Heart is colored with Copic markers. I used some waxed cord to wrap around the DP (which I don't know where I got it from...sorry).  I distressed the edges and stained with Frayed Burlap.  I also used a piece of burlap clothe for the tag. For embellishments, some buttons, charms, lace ribbon and WOC flowers, clip & ticket from Tim Holtz to complete the card.

 Up close...

Edwin at the Beach

Hello Stamping friends! I just finish this card (like 10 minutes ago...) that I am going to share with you today.  The image is from the Magnolia Spring Kit.

I colored Edwin with Distress Ink Reinkers. And because I didn't have any beach/ocean background, I just drew a beach-like scene with a distant coconut tree. I also glue some beach sand to look like he was standing on the beach.  Now, my big coconut tree is something I just cut free-hand.

Challenge:

I used buttons for my coconuts :)

Hope you like my card for today.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Mae
